There Goes My Fortnight Trimester Break
Small Talk: I suggested a wrong friend to some of my friends on Facebook. Surprisingly, only one asked me about it.
Hello Hello! Haven’t been posting much lately probably because I’m still in holiday mood. Not much holiday lah since I’ve been going around town for a few days helping both my sisters to settle their things. The only way for me to settle down is when sit down at my computer. Holiday with a computer? Whadda hell... Dam gay.
Alright since I didn’t write since the last post so I think I’ll just make things short and simple. Let’s see what happened during my two-week break.
During the first week, as you all should’ve known, I went Kluang from Melaka and stayed for a night. The next day I took a bus and headed to Kuala Lumpur. There I met my Eunice and then my sister and her bf on Tuesday. After having lunch together we travelled together back to Kuala Terengganu in my second sister’s CLK. We had lunch at Taman Megah in Petaling Jaya and to my surprise (might be to yours as well), I bumped into Mr Shebby Singh. If you haven’t already know, it was my second time meeting him, having the first time in 2007.
We took turns to drive and finally arrived in KT around 9pm. Had lunch at a Malay stall near SenHeng and got home – tired and weary – just to realise there was no water supply. Very lucky indeed.
That whole week I played futsal and went out with old friends. Of course not everyday and night. There’s a time for everything. The PC at home went haywire and I sent it to Nien’s dad’s shop the other day. Got it yesterday, was working like charm, until this morning when I woke up. I wonder what is really wrong. Luckily I have my laptop that kept me alive since I got back from KL last week.
One day, I forgot which, I got a letter from an anonymous fler. I thought which stone age friend is that who’s stupid enough to post me a snail-mail when we’re all on the Internet already. The letter was posted from Kuala Terengganu to me, who also happens to me in Kuala Terengganu. Well, it turned out to be some nonsense letter asking me to join don’t-know-what money making club or clan. Good God, I know that probably everyone knows that I’m desperate but these flers mustn’t have known that I’m smart. The letter ended up in the trashcan.
One big question which I’d want to raise here is how these morons got my full name and home address ?? (there, I gave you not one, but two big question marks to show my blurriness.) How on Earth they got my info? Hmm... I thought these morons live in hell.
Another letter that I received is the card from Google this morning. I thought it’s some warning letter warning me not to click on my own ads or else they’ll ban me from Adsense (like what happened to Kenny) but am I glad when I discovered its content. Those who’re using Adsense should know about this: they’re sending us our PIN numbers to un-hold our payments.
Letters done. My hair. It seems like even though I’m good looking enough to make bees less hardworking, my hair is quietly offending people around me. Friends, of course, didn’t comment much but some. However, everyone in my family has been telling me that it’s ugly. When I got to Kluang my cousin sisters asked why is my hair so freaking long and messy and why didn’t I go cut it. The next day before I left for KL I went to get a haircut. It looks all good and fine to me until my sister and mother kept making noise about it. Even my lil’ brother said it’s fugly when I asked him how does my hair look like. So much for the McDonald’s burger and roti canai that I bought him lately. Hah!
And so, I’m getting another haircut before I leave for Malacca tonight.
Oh, just before I forget, after staying in KT for more than a week, I’m heading back to Malacca already. Played three games of futsal and a game of badminton. Oh well talking about badminton! I haven’t played it since before this year’s CNY and I got my left arm aching since yesterday (badminton was on Wednesday). Okay, I can see it growing. lol.
Plenty of times did I do silly things when I was in KT and for many times I wasn’t on time for yumchar with my friends. Last Friday I was walking home from my friend’s place when I saw Pustaka Seri Intan. Without a second thought and without a penny in my wallet, I withdrew fifty bucks from the ATM machine and bought a book and a can of Mocha drink for RM44. And it was six bucks that was left in my wallet.
Nope, I didn’t buy novels although I was actually quite tempted to get one. If you went for Mr Chan’s tuition class, I believe you’ll remember some of his philosophies and authors or books that he always introduce to us. Ancora imparo, first things first, walk the talk, and whatnot. Sometimes I might be lazy but I do listen. For many times he’d told us about the book of ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ by Stephen Covey. I didn’t buy it because we (the author and I) share the same name, of course. :)
It’s a self-help book and hopefully it’ll help me to self-help myself to be a more effective student, if not human.
Oh GAWD how can I miss out this big issue!! There’s no chance I can watch Cristiano Ronaldo at Bukit Jalil next month at all now since he is already on his way to Real Madrid. Beckham once left for Real Madrid and vacated the No. 7 at Man United. A 17-year-old lad came in and held that number for six years and today, this No. 7 is following the predecessor’s footsteps. All the best in Bernabeu, CR. As much as we love you as our No. 7, there’s no chance we can let 80 million Pound slip through our fingers. lol. Imagine what you can do with eight million. Then, your imagination times ten. Haha! That’s what you can do with 80 million.
Well, well, I think half-an-hour of writing is enough for today. I need to go settle some matters before packing my bag. My bus leaves at 9pm tonight and that’s darn early. I’ll be spending my time for dinner at McDonald’s with some pals with my new haircut, I promise.
