BSOD At The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games
Small Talk: The England and European champions, Manchester United, won 3-1 on penalties against Portsmouth in the Community Shield game last night, after both teams drew 0-0.
And even words couldn’t tell how glad I’m to learn that the legend-in-the-making Cristiano Ronaldo is staying for another season. Is 50-goal tally possible this coming season?
On the night of August 8th, 2008, all eyes in the world were on Beijing.
The opening ceremony in Beijing for the 29th Olympic Games was truly incredible.
So incredible that even words are insufficient to describe the whole event.
The effects were amazing but no one would have thought that Microsoft Windows operating system was able to cause plenty of embarrassment to the Chinese.
That is BSOD, or commonly known as the Blue Screen Of Death – “an error screen frequently displayed by certain operating systems, most notably Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error which can cause the system to shut down to prevent damage.”
Linux might be a better choice SOMETIMES. Or the Chinese should start eating Apple?
P.S. More amazing opening ceremony images at getwonder.com; Olympics BSOD-ed found at playpark.net and special thanks to ahnam_yawnz for sharing them.

That's hillarious! Thanks for sharing. Didn't notice that.PS: Can I post that pic in my blog? Thanks
